Slow Cooker Roast Beef

Ingredients

1 chuck roast (I used the cheapest one in the grocery store. It was about 4 pounds and cost me 12 dollars. You can get a nicer more tender roast if you’re that kind of person. I don’t judge.)
2 tbsp beef stock powder
1 1/2 cups red wine

Directions for Slow Cooker Roast Beef

1. Place roast in crock pot, I cooked my roast beef over mini carrots and mini potatoes. You can make it by itself, with chopped up sweet potatoes, with onions. The world is your oyster.
2. Sprinkle beef stock powder over roast
3. Pour wine over roast beef
4. Cook on low for 4 hours (or more if your roast beef is larger than mine.)

This slow cooker roast beef is so easy to make! Virtually no clean up and sure to impress. Anything you make with red wine is impressive, especially if you serve it in a large glass along with dinner. Or perhaps just a straw in the bottle. Let me know what you think!
