I have noticed I like to make a lot of Chinese inspired dishes, can you blame me? This cheap and easy beef stir fry is chalked full of healthy vegetables and comes together in less than 20 minutes – plus it’s full of flavour. What’s not to love?
Slice your beef steaks into bite size strips. Roughly chop your red peppers and broccoli florets. Add to a skillet over medium heat.
Sprinkle in your sesame seeds, ginger and garlic. Pour over your soy sauce, hot sauce and honey. Stir everything together, cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes or until beef is cooked through and the broccoli and red peppers are tender. Stirring occasionally.
This cheap and easy beef stir fry is very healthy on it’s own, especially if you use low sodium soy sauce! However to boost up the health factor of my stir fry I served it over top of some piping hot delicious and nutritious quinoa.
Quinoa is a great source of protein, magnesium and iron. It is a classic superfood!
However if you don’t care for Quinoa serving this beef stir fry over rice would be just as delicious, just maybe not as nutritious!
I hope you will all give this cheap and easy beef stir fry a try and add it into your weekly menu line up! If you enjoyed this recipe please be sure to share it with your friends, and please don’t forget to like my Facebook page here to be notified whenever a new recipe is posted!
